7.8/10

I had a pleasant stay overall at the hotel. The location was great, being close to both the beach and the lively parts of town. My room was spacious and offered lovely views, though it did feel a bit outdated. The staff were friendly, but sometimes they didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the area. The dining options were good, especially the breakfast, but it could have been better on certain days. Overall, it was a good value for what I paid.

Rooms
7.0
The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a lovely balcony that overlooked the pools and the sea. However, it did feel a bit outdated, and at times, it was quite hot.
Service
7.0
The service from the staff was generally excellent and they responded to our needs promptly. However, I felt at times they wanted to rush us and weren’t very knowledgeable about local attractions.
Location
9.0
The location was awesome, situated just a 5-minute walk from the center of St. Julian's. It was peaceful yet close enough to enjoy the nightlife and various restaurants.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast was really good, with a lot of options including local products and plenty of cooked food. There were just a few days when it wasn't as good.
Facilities
8.0
The amenities were quite nice; I enjoyed the clean pool area and the option to use facilities at the sister property.

7.8/10

I stayed at this hotel and found its location convenient, with nice views and friendly staff. However, the rooms were a bit dated and didn’t live up to the expectations for the price paid, especially in terms of the promised sea view. The dining experience was good but could have had a wider selection. Overall, it's a decent place but has room for improvement in some areas.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but they felt a bit tired and didn’t quite match the starred rating or the price we paid. The view from the balcony was nice, but it was more of the pool than the sea as I had expected.
Service
9.0
The service was really impressive. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The New Year's Eve buffet was wonderful and definitely worth the money.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, with easy access to both Valletta and St Julian's center. Plus, the hotel is next to St George's Bay, making it convenient for walks to nearby bars and shops.
Dining
7.0
Dining was busy, even in the off-season. The quality of food was excellent, though I wish there had been more healthy options available.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had several pool options and plenty of sunbeds available, which made for a relaxing stay.

7.4/10

The hotel has a great location, being close to public transport and local restaurants, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. However, the rooms need some refreshing, and the dining options could be improved for quality. Overall, it is a good place for a decent price, but don't expect modern rooms or gourmet meals.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were looking tired and could really use a refresh. We had a room without a sea view, and the second room had some significant rips in the net curtains.
Service
9.0
The staff went above and beyond to address the issues we had, and they even prepared a lovely gift for us since we were on our honeymoon. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, especially at the breakfast buffet, which was a nice touch.
Location
10.0
The location is fantastic, right next to a bus stop for Valletta and within a short walk to great local restaurants. It was clean and quiet, making it ideal for a peaceful stay.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast had a nice range, the overall dining experience could be better in terms of quality and healthy options. They had sufficient choices, but nothing stood out as exceptional.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered good facilities, though I didn't feel they were particularly luxurious or modern.

I had a great stay at this hotel, mostly due to the fantastic location and the clean, spacious rooms. The staff, especially Davor and Alex, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. However, I found the dining options a bit lacking and would have loved a wider variety for breakfast. Overall, it's a good value for money, but some areas could use improvement.

6.8/10

The hotel has a great location with plenty of restaurants and a lively atmosphere nearby. The rooms, however, were less than ideal; our city view was not what we anticipated, and the breakfast area felt cramped. On a positive note, the service was outstanding, especially from Davor, who really went above and beyond for us. Overall, it was a decent stay, but some aspects could use improvement.

Rooms
5.0
We were disappointed with our city view room, which looked out over a roundabout and a derelict school instead of the sea. The atmosphere felt a bit off, like 'smells like a church during a funeral'.
Service
9.0
The staff was friendly and made check-in easy. They went above and beyond for us, especially Davor, who was fantastic.
Location
9.0
I really appreciated the fantastic location, close to bars, restaurants, and a mall. It had a vibrant party atmosphere, which I loved.
Dining
5.0
We found the breakfast options to be very limited in a small area, which was disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
The breakfast area felt too small for the number of guests, which limited the overall experience.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were nice and spacious, with a great view and decent balconies, which I really appreciated. However, the service was often overloaded and not very helpful, and the location, while convenient, could use some improvements. Overall, it’s a decent place, but there are certainly areas that need attention.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a nice view along with a decent-sized balcony. I especially liked that they were facing the main entrance.
Service
5.0
Service was often overloaded and not as helpful as I would have liked. While they did provide breakfast at 4 AM, the overall experience felt a bit rushed.
Location
6.0
The hotel is in a good spot, right next to St. George's Bay. However, the immediate neighborhood left a bit to be desired, feeling a bit oppressive and uninviting.
Dining
7.0
Dining was quite a mixed bag. The breakfast choices were kind of basic, and with a baby, I found the dining timing a bit late. Fresh croissants were a highlight, though.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent but could have been better. There were issues around the pool, especially with kids using the adult-only sections.

7.0/10

My stay at the hotel was overall quite pleasant. The rooms were clean and offered a great view of the pool and bay, although there was a persistent leak in the shower which was a bit of a hassle. The service had its ups and downs, as I encountered some rudeness but there were moments that made my stay worthwhile. The location was perfect for a peaceful retreat and still close enough to explore the town. However, it was disappointing that there weren’t many dining options nearby and the dining experience could have been improved.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean and tidy, with a fantastic view of the pool and bay. However, I did have an issue with the leaking shower that required towels to manage the water on the floor.
Service
6.0
I faced some rude service, especially with luggage handling, but there were staff members who turned out to be really nice and made the stay worthwhile despite an initial mix-up with transportation.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a perfect spot if you're looking for a peaceful area, yet it's within walking distance to the town for those wanting to explore.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a bit boring, even though I found everything I wanted on the menu. There was a frustrating wait of 15 minutes just to get a table one day.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were satisfactory, but nothing stood out as particularly impressive.

The hotel has a great location with stunning views of the sea and Dragonara Casino. The rooms are comfortable, although they could use a refresh. The service staff, especially Marianna and Brian, were fantastic. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, and breakfast could definitely improve.

Rooms
7.0
The two queen bed rooms offered great comfort and lovely views with an open balcony, but they could do with a refresh to feel more modern.
Service
9.0
The service was outstanding, especially from Marianna at reception and Brian the concierge; they really went above and beyond.
Location
9.0
The location is excellent, being just a short walk from St. George's Bay, with beautiful views and away from the main town noise.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was underwhelming, particularly the breakfast which could use a lot more variety.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had decent facilities, but there were areas that needed improvement to match the overall quality.

6.6/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was absolutely perfect, away from the chaos but still close to attractions. The rooms, while well-finished, felt a bit outdated and I was disappointed that I didn’t get a sea view. On the bright side, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I found the dining to be quite poor, especially considering the cost. Overall, it has great potential with some areas needing improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were highly finished but unfortunately felt outdated. I was disappointed not to get a sea view.
Service
7.0
The staff was proactive and helpful, suggesting the best options available. However, I encountered a staff member who seemed uninterested in addressing issues.
Location
10.0
The hotel is in a fantastic location, conveniently away from the madness of the main strip but close enough to enjoy it if desired.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were quite poor in terms of food quality, which was disappointing given the price.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were decent, but some amenities were lacking, particularly in dining services.

8.2/10

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is beautifully located near a small beach and lots of restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the breakfast experience was a bit chaotic at peak times, and I felt like the dining area could've used more staffing. The hotel's amenities are great overall, although it could be a struggle to find a quiet spot during busy periods.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were fantastic, equipped with everything we needed like bathrobes and plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep.
Service
Location
9.0
The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach and close to various restaurants, bars, and shops. It made getting around quite easy, as there are local buses and sightseeing options nearby.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was a highlight, with a great variety of options, but it could get a bit chaotic due to the number of guests. At times, it felt like more staff were needed to keep up with the demand.
Facilities

The hotel had great facilities, including a lovely pool area and a decent restaurant. However, finding a quiet space during busy times was sometimes challenging.

7.2/10

The hotel offered a great sea view and had a nice executive lounge, but the rooms were quite dated and in need of a thorough clean. Service was a bit lacking at times, especially when it came to pool access and directions. However, the location is perfect for enjoying the nightlife in Paceville and being close to the beach.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were quite dated and needed a good clean, especially behind furniture and in the grouting. The door opening onto the toilet was also poorly positioned, but I did enjoy the magnificent balcony with a sea view overlooking St George's Bay.
Service
6.0
While the staff were generally helpful, I found that some directions weren't clear which led to confusion. The amenities were okay, but the pool situation was overcrowded and made it hard to find a bed at the adult pool.
Location
9.0
The location was really convenient, just a short walk from the beach, bars, and restaurants in Paceville, making it a perfect spot for a nightlife outing.
Dining
7.0
Dining was standard for a five-star hotel. It would have been nice to see allergen info on dishes for those of us with sensitivities.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had plenty of beds around the swimming pool, but it got quite busy on weekends with locals. Overall, I would say the facilities were decent but not exceptional.

9.0/10

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The location is absolutely fantastic, surrounded by lots of restaurants and shops. The dining exceeded my expectations with a great variety, but I would have loved a better view from my suite. Overall, it's a great value for money considering the amenities, but the lack of a pool view was a letdown.

Rooms

The suite was large and offered a lovely view of the bay, though I would have preferred a pool view.

7.2/10

The hotel had a great size room with comfortable bedding and nice amenities, but it was clear that the rooms could use a bit of modernization. The location was convenient, just a short walk from St Julians and Paceville, but the check-in service wasn't up to par, which was frustrating. Overall, it offered good value for the price, but there were certainly a few hiccups during my stay.

Rooms
7.0
My room was a very good size and had all the necessary amenities for a nice getaway. The bedding was fresh and soft, and I appreciated the complimentary water and mini bar options. However, it felt a bit tired and could use some renovations.
Service
5.0
The service was a mixed bag; while some staff were really helpful and assisted with bookings, the check-in process was painfully slow, and they didn't seem very friendly initially. We faced issues with room assignments that took far too long to resolve.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was decent—just 20-30 minutes from the airport and really close to shops and restaurants in St Julians and Paceville. It felt conveniently tranquil, away from all the noise of the party hub, which I liked.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the dining options available at the hotel, with a nice variety of food to choose from. However, it did feel a bit disorganized when dining outside, and I ended up with a partial sea view instead of the full one I had hoped for.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were nice overall; the pool was well-kept and a pleasant place to relax. Still, nothing jumped out as particularly luxurious or modern.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location is fantastic, with a great view of the sea and easy access to nearby restaurants. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although they felt a bit dated. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, but the loud noise from other guests was quite disruptive at times. Overall, it offers good value for money, but there are some areas that need improvement.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with an amazing view of the sea from the balcony. However, they do seem a bit dated.
Service
9.0
The staff was really friendly and generally very helpful, which made my stay much more enjoyable.
Location
10.0
The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the sea and close to two Michelin plate restaurants, making dining out convenient.
Dining

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, but overall the dining options seemed limited compared to other luxury hotels.
Facilities

The hotel had nice facilities, but the soundproofing in the rooms could definitely be improved.

6.8/10

My stay was quite pleasant overall. The location is great, with easy access to local activities, and the staff was incredibly helpful, arranging outings and reservations for us. However, the service felt a bit disorganized at times, which was frustrating. The dining options were not as diverse as I hoped, and the rooms, although spacious and sea-facing, were quite dated. The price felt fair, but there’s definitely room for improvement in a few areas.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were big and had a nice sea view, but they are clearly dated and designed for twin occupancy, making them feel a bit old-fashioned.
Service
7.0
The service was excellent in terms of help, with the staff being friendly and accommodating. However, they were a bit disorganized and had poor communication skills at times.
Location
8.0
The hotel is excellently located in the heart of Malta's activities, but it's a bit of a hassle finding towels yourself as there weren’t enough staff available for that.
Dining
5.0
The dining was decent with a lovely range of food, but it became repetitive, and I had to queue a bit to get a table, which was frustrating.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were okay but not very well maintained, which made me feel a bit uneasy at times.
